I have been doing photography for 30 years. Truly, I think my whole life has been consumed by the passion for it. I see photography as not just another profession. It is an art, a way of expressing yourself, capturing time and those special moments in time, that can never be repeated again.

It all started as a boy when I picked up my dads old Yashica film camera. Later I had my own black and white darkroom, and even later I worked for many years at one of the top national newspapers in South Africa. In 2009 I started out on my own as a freelancer,trading as Silverzone Images. The name stemming from the silver bromide chemical used in developing photos.

I specialize in a wide field of photography subjects. From corporate shoots for some of the largest companies in the country, industrial photography and shoots for some of the major magazines, right down to family photos and such out of the way niche subjects as travel documentary and fine art nudes.

Out of all of that though it has always been weddings that have been my main passion. To share a special day with a couple and see the joy on their faces when you later give them their photos is just incomparable to anything else.

Lastly, I know weddings are expensive. Therefore I try my utter best to give my clients the best service and value for money possible. Like I always say. In the end all that will be left after the wedding is the couple - and the photographs. Nothing else really counts in the long term. Hope to hear from you !
