Weddings:

Sankofa is the ideal wedding venue situated on a boutique reserve just 10km outside of Plettenberg Bay and comfortably caters for up to 200 guests for an outdoor function.
The simplistically converted hangar has been transformed into a space that can be utilised for any event, large or small.
The venue boasts a romantic forest lapa and fynbos trails, pretty dams and a wedding platform with views of both the sunrise and the sunset.

We have an in house events planner who creates wedding & honeymoon packages, and we will do everything required to make that special day one to be remembered!
We can assist with everything from photographers to hiring right through to your wedding cake and the finer details..

Our reception venue comes equipped with a bar area and indoor functions venue, we have a small outdoor kitchen / scullery that can be used as a prep / wash up area.
There are 2 guest bathrooms on site.
The venue opens onto a landing platform which can accommodate a stretch tent if your function requires extra seating (recommended for 80 guests and more).

Sankofa is aiming to be a self sustained boutique reserve & farm. We have our own established organic vegetable gardens and a newly planted fruit & nut orchard.
We are focused on conservation and have free roaming antelope , who are in fact quite friendly and will sometimes come right up to you.
The farm also boasts a prolific bird life and even porcupines, bushpig , caracoul and muskeljaat roam the property ...
