Antbear lodge offers a chapel on site. a unique reception venue and accommodation on site for up to 50 guests with more accommodation available in he area. We are interested in what you and your guests would enjoy and will tailor-make your wedding according to your dreams. Antbear Wedding Venue is able to host weddings of up to 100 guests. We even cater for wedding of just 10 guests.
Our gardens and farm offer exceptional beauty and tranquility, and provide perfect photographic opportunities. Its the dramatic views that really inspire. We offer a variety of locations in the gardens which can be incorporated into your celebration. You and your guests will be assured of a private and intimate occasion.
Our beautiful glassed in thatched chapel is in close proximity to the main venue. The Chapel has panoramic views of the Drakensberg and really requires very little decor but small touches can be added to the bridal parties discretion. The Chapel can accommodate 100 guests, and includes features like huge mosaics and wooden chandeliers and hand made wood chairs.
Our reception hall can accommodate up to 100 people and is a particularly lovely space for smaller weddings. If you would like to drape and have fairy lights that can easily be arranged although the lodge already has a lovely earthy character that some people dont even worry about draping. Our wooden chandeliers some with real candles offer that touch of romance to the atmosphere.
The lodge includes a fully equipped professional kitchen and we will gladly cater for your event. We will create a menu that will fit your budget.
We have a number of options as far as the bar goes. You can supply your own drinks and we will only charge a corkage per bottle or could run a cash bar or have a set limit after which we then run a cash bar. We supply waiters and barmen for your function.
