We are thrilled to introduce VESA (Valley Equestrian Show Arena), a quality country venue that exudes character in a fun and relaxed environment. Our venue, located at plot 64 Waterblom street, Valley Settlements, Meyerton, is the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding. With storybook-like settings for your wedding snaps and hosts who will take care of your family and friends, we guarantee smiles and laughter will come naturally.
One of the key advantages of our venue is that it is in a current No Load Shedding Area, thanks to the proximity of a water pump station. This ensures uninterrupted power supply for your special day.
VESA is an equestrian estate with a spacious venue area under a roof of approximately 720 sqm. The venue overlooks our main horse arena, which boasts three levels of concrete seating, accommodating around 1000 spectators. The main indoor banquet hall can comfortably seat up to 190 guests, providing an intimate and elegant setting for your reception.
Adjacent to the banquet hall, we have a charming chapel with its own entrance through a beautiful garden. For your convenience, we offer a 3-bedroom flat located close to the chapel entrance, which can be used for bridal dressing and accommodation. The flat is self-catering and has separate rooms. The cost for hiring the flat for dressing on the day only is R1000.00, and R400 per person if overnight stay is required.
Our chapel can seat approximately 190 guests, and if you prefer an outdoor service, we have a lovely outdoor spaces, suitable for a church ceremony. Additionally, our venue is surrounded by grassy areas, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor celebrations.
When it comes to accommodation, we are conveniently located about 5 km from the Merchant Business hotel. There is also a B&B in our road, and many other B&Bs in Henley on Klip, approximately 6 km away.
Let's talk about pricing. The minimum venue hire fee for a Friday or Saturday wedding is R7,800, which covers the first 65 guests. For each additional guest beyond 65, there is an additional charge of R120 per person. This venue hire fee includes tables and chairs with standard venue décor, which will be advised during your visit.
For Sunday to Thursday weddings, we offer a special rate of R4,550 for the first 65 guests, with an additional charge of R70 per extra guest. This weekday rate also applies to public holidays.
Please note that starting from 1 September 2024, the above prices will increase by 10 percent.
We understand that every wedding is unique, and we offer the flexibility to customize your special day according to your preferences and budget. You have the option to use your own caterers, decorators, DJs, and coordinators. However, if you need recommendations, we have a list of suggested competitive vendors available upon booking with us.
At VESA, we also have an on-site cash bar offering reasonably priced drinks.
Catering options: From R70 per guest upwards, for harvest table with Spit braai menus from R160 to R300 and Lasagna menu from R130 upwards, all options as a guide only. Décor from R500 to R850 per table as a guide.
To enhance your wedding experience, we offer a horse cart/carriage for use as a wedding carriage at an additional cost of R1,500. Our horses are also available for use in photos at no extra charge. We have many picturesque areas around the estate for capturing beautiful memories.
We take pride in our venue and the effort we put into maintaining its beauty. Prior to each wedding, we invest an average of R1,500 to R2,000 in preparing the lawns and gardens to ensure you have plenty of stunning photo shoot spots.
